KMCAS-220 - Home Support Service

Tenders are invited by the Council from Suppliers with relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity for the provision of Home Care Support (Domiciliary) (the “Services”) under a proposed multiple Supplier Light Touch Framework. The Home Support Service in Kirklees will provide care and support to adults aged 18 and over living at home in the community, who have been assessed to meet the Council's eligibility criteria. This includes (but is not limited to) adults who have assessed care and support needs associated with older age, sensory impairment, dementia, learning disability, physical ill health, disrupted lifestyle patterns, substance misuse and mental illness. The Service Provider must be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and deliver services in accordance with the registration requirements of the CQC, complying with all relevant regulations and best practice guidelines. The anticipated commencement date for the Framework is 22nd June 2026. The anticipated expiry date for the Framework is 21st June 2029, with the option to extend for a further two (2) periods of three (3) years each. The Council reserve the right to reopen/ refresh the Framework over its lifetime. The estimated value of the Framework is approximately £27,000,000 Framework annual value.
